The great thing about yoga is that you can do it almost anywhere. However, yoga from the comfort of your own home is one of the best ways to enjoy art. By practicing yoga in private, students of yoga can go at their pace and structure their routines the way they want. If you have yet to try yoga, doing it at home is a great way to give it a shot. If you are a veteran, practicing at home regularly is one of the keys to getting better.
In any case, here are some helpful hints to successfully maintaining a yoga routine at home.
1.) Find the Time
Finding the time to do yoga at home is the most important part. You have to set some time aside specifically for yoga. That does not mean you have to do it every day, but I would recommend practicing for ten to thirty minutes at least two or three times a week.
2.) Get Yourself Ready
If you are just starting your yoga journey, there are some things you can get to help you get started. If you want, you can get your own mat to do your yoga on. Furthermore, if you are unfamiliar with any poses, you can find books, videos, or audio recordings that can guide you through the basics.

Make a list of all the poses you like to do. From there, pick at least ten poses that are balanced. By balanced I mean ten that address different areas of the body. You can also get creative within your weekly schedule. For example, if you do yoga at home for three days a week, come up with a different routine for each of those times. This way your routine is always fresh.
